We welcome the whole family to our office, including your young children! Your little ones have a special set of smile needs and prevention is especially crucial in the early years. Our staff loves caring for children and we take an especially warm, gentle approach with our littlest patients. We want to make sure they walk away with only positive memories of their time in the dental chair!

Feel free to bring your child in for their first visit around the time they turn 3. In these initial appointments, we’ll gently peek into your child’s mouth and give you pointers for helping them maintain excellent dental health. As they get a little older we will add gentle cleanings, fluoride treatments, dental sealants and other preventive treatments they would benefit from. If a problem requiring complex care does arise, we will refer your child out to a pediatric dentist to ensure they receive the most experienced care. Our team manages 95% of children’s dentistry cases from the comfort of our office.

Topical treatments of fluoride remineralize the teeth to strengthen enamel against the bacteria that causes tooth decay. Dental sealants are painted directly onto the chewing surface of the molars to shield these teeth from trapped food particles and bacteria that leads to cavities. We recommend fluoride for all patients under the age of 18.
